Best Iphone For Android Users

Android on Pixel vs iOS on iPhone: Best User Experience?!

This is another easy and user-friendly cellphone monitoring app that offers many of the spy features discussed above. It even has a convenient online dashboard that lets you review the data collected from the target device. On top of that, you can even have remote control over the target phone through SMS commands and set a screen time limit.

The limitation for this app is that it requires you to root or jailbreak the cell phone to really be able to appreciate the full services of iKeyMonitor. So, if youre not so comfortable with the procedure, you may want to look elsewhere, or you can hire other companies like Highster Mobile that can do this for you for a small fee.

Despite having a little bit more technically involved and complicated installation process, the iKeyMonitor app is a pretty solid package that features all the spying functionality advertised at a very reasonable price per month.

Although the iKeyMonitor spy software offers a keystroke logging feature that records everything a user types, you need to jailbreak/need to root the cell phone to take advantage of the functionality. Nonetheless, this app is a decent choice that is affordable with even a free trial for you to try out before making the final decision.

Ios Vs Android Users: Difference In Approach Towards Tech

Statistically, iPhone users are early adopters of technology and are 100% more likely to own a Mac as compared to Android users. And a majority of the iPhone users are more likely to have used the internet, way before 1992 whereas Android geeks were late and got the taste of the internet in or after 2000.

Although iPhone users are early adopters of technology, they invest less time and thoughts before making a purchase decision, as compared to Android users, who are keen to buy devices that offer the maximum number of features.

And did you know that an Android user is more likely to be a sci-fi fan than iPhone users? And not just that, Android users are more likely to choose features over design, whereas their iOS counterparts prefer the other way around.

The Home Screen On Ios Is Not As Customizable As The One On Android

Coming from the Android ecosystem, I was used to being able to customize everything. The first big difference is the fact that the home screen on the iPhone is a lot more limited in personalization options than the one on Android.

On my iPhone, the only things I can change about the home screen are:

    • Choosing a different image for the wallpaper
    • Changing the order of the app icons
    • Creating folders in which I can place multiple app icons

That is not much compared to what you can do in Android. These are the features I miss most:

    • I cannot use widgets. The only place where you can have widgets in iOS is the Notifications Screen.
    • There is no apps drawer like in Android. All the apps are shown on the home screen, so you have to create app folders to get all the clutter organized.

    A Coherent Hardware Experience

The most vital reason why iPhones command such a dominance over the premium phone market is their vertical integration. Apple exerts control over both the software and hardware, which has always allowed it to deliver a more coherent experience than Android manufacturers.

Its not an exaggeration, either. On the iPhone, it seems like everything has been made and assembled from start to finish in one central lab. Snappy performance aside, this especially works well for fundamental abilities like automatic brightness and the haptics — two of the many features that still remain subpar on all Android phones.

Third-party accessory support for the iPhone is also noticeably better. Companies tend to prioritize the iPhone since there are fewer models and they sell in greater quantities.

The only exception to the otherwise top-drawer hardware is by far my biggest pet peeve with the iPhone: the proprietary Lightning port. For the last couple of years, Ive grown used to carrying a single USB Type-C charger for all my devices, be it my phone, laptop, headphones or power banks. The iPhone, sadly, continues to force its users to carry around an extra cable, despite the fact that even Apples computers now exclusively come equipped with Type-C ports.

    The Best Paid Reminder Apps

Iphone Vs Android. Which is better?

If youre willing to pay a little more for better productivity, there are some great premium apps available too.

Some of these apps require you to pay before you can install them on your device, while others offer in-app purchases that let you access the good stuff.

Either way, you have to spend some money to take advantage of their features.

    Here are the apps:

Available on iOS only | $2.99

Currently only available for Apple users, CARROT is a slightly unconventional reminder app.

CARROT has no problem being hard on you and giving you an extra nudge if youre not sticking to your schedule.

If you have a problem with procrastination, it will get you back in efficiency mode. The app chastises you when you havent checked off tasks within a certain time.

You also get rewarded when you do meet your goals. Rewards include mini-games for your phones, upgrades, and even a digital kitten.

Iphone 13 Mini: For Folks Who Like Em Small

The last model in the iPhone 13 series is the iPhone 13 Mini. As its name suggests, it is the smallest model in the lineup. Its even smaller than the iPhone SE and the iPhone 6!

Dont let its size fool you, though. Inside, it has almost all the same specs as the iPhone 13. That includes the processor, storage options, camera lenses, wireless charging, etc. The only thing that doesnt match up is the battery capacity, which makes sense since its so much smaller.

This is one of the smallest fully-powered smartphones on the market.

Thankfully, even the price of the phone becomes minified. The iPhone 13 Mini starts at just $699 for the model with 128GB of storage. The 512GB model will set you back $999.

Unfortunately, the was reportedly the lowest-selling model in that line. Unless this years Mini turns the tide, this will probably be the last Mini model we see in Apples iPhone lineup. So, if you like this phone, better grab it while you can!

Should You Buy Through A Carrier Or Unlocked

The US market is still dominated by carrier-sold phones, but buying your phone direct and unlocked gives you more freedom to switch carriers if you choose to do so.

Unlocked phones feature no carrier bloatware and no ongoing payment plan, so you can switch to another carrier or sell them on eBay at will. An unlocked phone is actually something you own. Every phone on this list can be bought direct, with no carrier involvement. But most people still buy their phones through carriers, which offer a single point for service and support, as well as monthly payment plans that dramatically lower the upfront prices of phones. You’ll also want to make sure your carrier will support the phone, and all its features, on its network several readers have told us their carrier won’t support their unlocked device even though it’s compatible with the network.

With that in mind, choosing Android as your mobile operating system is only half the battle. If you’re still on the fence, check out our list of the best phones, regardless of OS.

Still Wondering What’s Best For You

If youre still confused on whether an Android or an iPhone is best for you, consider your level of expertise with electronics:

    • Ease of use. If you want simplicity, iPhone still reigns supreme. Android has gained ground with its latest operating system update, but Apple knows how to create an easy-to-use, intuitive interface.
    • Customization. But for those who want more choice and personalization, Android is for you. Google Play has more apps, but you face greater risks in security as you can download from other stores, too.
    • Tryouts. Nothing beats some hands-on time, so whether you borrow one from someone you know or visit a store, play around with any device before you commit.

iPhone 13 Pro – An Android User’s Perspective!

The $700iPhone 12 has a superb balance of performance, features, and design for the price, and it’s the model most people should go for if $800 is a stretch too far.

    • Screen: 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR
    • Camera: 12-megapixel wide and ultra-wide
    • Processor: A14 Bionic
    • You can read the full iPhone 12 review here.

Pros: Excellent battery life, excellent cameras, excellent performance, ceramic shield glass is very scratch resistant

Cons: Night mode selfies aren’t very sharp, no fast charger included, not that much cheaper than iPhone 13

The iPhone 12 is the best iPhone for most people with its $799 price tag. It poses the best value in relation to specs, features, and design compared to the Pro models.

Running on Apple’s A14 Bionic chip, the iPhone 12 still has the hardware most people need for daily and extended usage for less than the iPhone 13.

The iPhone 12 has many features in common with the iPhone 13, including a dual-camera system with an ultrawide lens, MagSafe, 5G, and IP68 water resistance.

There are few compromises by going with the iPhone 12 over the iPhone 13. You don’t get the iPhone 13’s newer A15 Bionic processor, or Apple’s new cameras with bigger sensors. Apart from that, you’re not missing out on much else.

Asus 8z Review: Display And Audio

Technically yes, the Asus 8z is a small phone but it does not seem tiny to me. The 8Z has a 5.9-inch Samsung AMOLED display rated at 2,400 x 1,080 pixels resolution, which works out to be 445 PPI. The front panel is flat, and the phone is designed in such a way that it gives the impression of a small device. Since the screen is large enough, those who want to migrate to the Asus 8z might not feel lost and thats a good thing. Whether you are reading a story, watching a YouTube video or playing games, the experience of using the 8z is not different from any other phone.

The screen is not only HDR10 certified but also supports a smooth 120Hz high refresh rate. The display supports something called adaptive refresh rates that toggles between 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz. This way the battery is unlikely to get deleted fast. Asus phones have always been better in the case of onboard speakers, especially the ROG-branded gaming phones. The 8z comes with two speakers, both loud and clear. I can use them for casual listening or even attend a Zoom call. The sound output from the speakers is impressive. For a change, the phone also has an old fashioned 3.5mm headphone jack.

    Iphone 13 Review: Cameras

    • Bright and colorful images beat Samsung
    • Ultra-wide camera delivers more scene and improved Night mode

Theres much more to the iPhone 13 cameras than just a new diagonal arrangement of the lenses. The wide camera now gathers 47% more light than the iPhone 12, thanks to a larger camera with 1.7m pixels.

Another plus is that the ultrawide camera can now capture four times more scene and its newer sensor delivers better low-light performance along with less noise.

If youre not a fan of the iPhones usual color temperature or you just wanted more control over your photos youll appreciate the Photographic Styles feature. In the Camera app, you can switch from multiple styles, including standard, vibrant, rich contrast, warm and cool.

I tried out the feature with a series of portraits, and I appreciated the difference between styles. For example, the rich contrast mode made the shot look less hazy, while the vibrant setting made the coleus plants pop more along with the tree in the background. Its not that easy to switch this effect on the fly, as you have to tap a setting and then select the style you want, but I like that you can customize your own styles.

In this photo taken at the Manasquan reservoir in New Jersey, you can see how superior the iPhone 13s camera is compared to the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. The water looks more vibrant and translucent, and the iPhone 13 does a better job rendering the shadows around the wood.

What Should I Look For When Choosing An Android Phone

Screen size and resolution, battery life, power, camera performance and price tend to be the main things to consider when buying an Android phone. The best ones will excel in most or all areas – but often at a high price. And when it comes to the screen, bigger isn’t always better. If you have small hands or want to use your phone one-handed, then you may want to consider something more compact.

    Does Personality Play A Role

iPhone owners are vain, BlackBerry users earn more and ...

Believe it or not, we apparently choose our smartphones based on how introverted or extroverted we are! According to a study, Android users are less extroverted than iPhone users, and they are perceived to have greater levels of honesty and humility.

Android users are also more likely to prefer saving their money and to say they tend to follow, while their iOS counterparts prefer spending their money and theyre more likely to say they tend to lead.

However, I wouldnt be too concerned about the personality differences when it comes to the platform choice for an app every user is unique in a much more granular way than a study can show. As long as you focus on your apps goal and your users intent, youre good to go!

    Android Pros And Cons

    • Massive hardware selection: A large number of Android devices are available at various price points, with varying hardware capabilities, screen sizes and features.
    • Highly customizable user experience: The home screen can be customized with not just app icons but widgets that allow the user to stay connected or informed. Other examples include SwiftKey, which modifies your Android smartphones keyboard, and apps that emulate older gaming consoles. Google has fewer restrictions than Apple on what kinds of apps it allows in its Play store. Moreover, you can choose to install Android apps from places other than the Google Play store.

Several prominent people have shifted from iPhone to Android. Android’s connection to the Google ecosystem of services is strong and arguably more useful compared with Apple’s cloud services suite.

    Gaming: A Mobile Powerhouse

Mobile gaming used to be dominated by Nintendo’s 3DS and Sony’s Playstation Vita. The iPhone changed that.

The iPhone and iPod touch are the dominant players in the mobile video game market, with tens of thousands of great games and millions of players. The growth of the iPhone as a gaming platform has led some observers to say that Apple is the leading mobile game platform .

The tight integration of Apple’s hardware and software supports powerful gaming technologies using hardware and software that make its phones as fast as, or quicker than, some laptops.

The general expectation that Android apps should be free has led game developers interested in making money to develop for iPhone first and Android second. In fact, due to problems with developing with Android, some game companies have stopped creating games for it altogether.

While Android has its share of hit games, the iPhone has a clear advantage.

    Iphone 13 Review: Ios 15

    • Focus cuts down on distractions

iOS 15 delivers some welcome improvements to your iPhone, many of which focus on shared experiences. FaceTime has improved audio and a cleaner interface, and the iOS 15.1 update lets you listen to music or watch movies or TV shows with friends or family via . And the Messages app delivers a new Shared with You section for photos, articles and more to make it easier to keep track of all the different links friends text your way.

I personally appreciate the new Focus feature in iOS 15, which lets you filter notifications based on what youre doing. And notifications themselves have been refined, complete with a new summary view so you dont get overwhelmed by constant alerts.

Other iOS 15 highlights include a redesigned Safari , a more full-featured Weather app and an enhanced Maps app with more detail and better road views. Last but not least, Live Text bites off Google Lens by recognizing text in real time via the camera when you want to look things up or get translations.

Since we posted our review, Apple has come out with iOS 15.2, which adds even more features to your iPhone including an App Privacy Report. As always, developers continue to produce great apps that take advantage of iOS, so we’d suggest loading up on some of the best iPhone apps or, if you’re new to the platform, grabbing the best apps for a new iPhone.
